This intensive two action-packed-day bootcamp immerses participants in a simulated business environment, where they'll learn the essentials of launching and running a company. Working in teams, they'll tackle everything from business planning and securing capital to managing operations, sales & marketing, R&D, finance, competition, counter-strategy, HR, merchandising, and supply chain – gaining hands-on experience in virtually every facet of real-world business.

  • The participating teams are competing Real-life challenges of Food Manufacturing & Distributing Teams.

​

  • Each team will be competing against each other and winning customers to become the most profitable Milk Tea (and other Juices) Business.

  • Ultimately they would be judged on how profitable they would be as a franchisee.

​

  • On top of this, they will also earn points in the following areas:

  • Most Creative Brand Name

  • Best in Mission - Vision - Values

  • Best in Corporate AVP

  • Best in Marketing, Advertising and Commercials

  • Best in Corporate Vlog Best in Milk Tea Cafe Set-Up Etc.

THE CEO'S

BRIEFING

  • The competing teams appoint their own CEOs and CFOs.

​

  • Lilolele meets up with them and explain the mechanics, rules, norms and procedures of the grand simulation.

  • A group of appointed “customers” will be briefed on what their roles are, how they can participate to make the activity realistic and how to make it also fun.

​

  • We need about 20 customers for this group.

REGISTRATION

  • The competing teams register their businesses and their brand name with simulated government agencies such as; SEC, DOLE, BIR, LGU, SSS, PHILHEALTH, HDF.

​

  • The first award is on Most Creative Brand Name.

  • The competing teams are asked to come up with their own company’s Mission, Vision and Core Values in writing and on AVPs.

LOANING

FROM THE

BANK

  • Each team must determine how much they will take up as a loan from the bank as initial capitalization.

​

  • They will need to read and research about the market and competition.

​

  • Bank loans interest charges apply, even including loan amortization defaults or late payment charges.

  • Then they will use their capitalization in buying raw ingredients, materials, utensils, equipment, etc. from a Food Ingredients Store.

  • Then they also rent & set up their own market stalls.

  • There will be 3-5 rounds of Market Days where the competing firms will display their Milk Teas and sell to customers who will pay in cash, etc.

  • After each round of Market Days, each team must pay the bank their principal and interest and do their financials.

  • They will do huddle to learn from each round and improve on the following rounds.

  • The overall winner would be the most profitable company.

  • Challenges will be smoothly embedded in the entire process:

  • Out of stocks;

  • Unserved orders;

  • No/late delivery;

  • Bidding denied/lost;

  • Inflation/recession;

  • Sick Leaves, AWOL, Poaching;

  • Restrictions;

  • Etc.
